Don’t Forget Who You Really Are

“In those moments of turmoil, in those moments before a storm glimpses,
in those moments when doubts arise:
don’t forget, remember who you really are”…
Who am I? I ask my self in one of those moments:
I am not this body, to find me you will have to see not just look.
To find me, your 5 senses are going to be useless,
because you would not find me in the external features that I have.
To find me, it would not help you to search for my face or my silhouette among the crowd,
as I am not what you see.I am not this body; I am this soul…that’s right.
To find my soul you will have to forget for a while your worldly surroundings,
and see me with your own spirit.I am what my soul is: pure energy, the creation of true love.
I am freedom, I am awareness, I am certainty.
I am a soul that flows freely, regardless of circumstances, but with a purpose.
I am a soul that longs to be reunited with God; but also lives to be love in this relative world.
I am a soul that knows all the answers deeply, its own future and past.
But I decided to forget everything, so to experience again
the exhilaration of remembering all over again.
Thus, I am a soul that perhaps doesn’t know what comes ahead with total certainty;
but what I really know is that it will be what I chose: to be love and express it.
Hence, this is who I am: a soul made flesh.
I am sheer feelings, expressed in acts of creation.
I have created every circumstance, every moment and every human encounter
in order to express myself in my innermost nature.
I am, finally: who I say I am…
